Project Feature: Chanhassen Home Remodeled for Space and Efficiency | Chanhassen Remodeling Company

The homeowners of this 1960s Chanhassen home wanted to make greater use of the space they had, and also make necessary changes to save on their energy bill. In just three weeks we were able to help them accomplish both goals.

The living room was home to a very large fireplace that took up most of the main wall. We removed the fireplace from the interior wall, as well as removed the chimney from the exterior wall, and then seamlessly patched in the outer siding and the inner drywall. What a difference — the room is now more open and feels noticeably larger.

The homeowner also became aware that their older windows were leaking over 80% of their heat, racking up unnecessarily large heating bills each year. We were able to install clad Marvin windows with argon insulated glass, making the home significantly more energy-efficient!

The home has a clean, updated look and the homeowners are thrilled with the results! Enjoy our Sass Construction remodeling magic in the before and after photos below…
